Hanieh Bozorgnia works interdisciplinary in the fields of film, video art and installation.
Since 2019 they are part of the cumming collective, a queer feminist collective working for more diversity and inclusion in the Cologne cultural scene. The collective organizes events promoting women, trans and non-binary artists.
They also organize and curate the BIPoC film series cinema coming closer to you, which deliberately focuses on explorations of inclusion and exclusion, experiences of violence, and critiques of social conditions in the works of marginalized filmmakers from Germany.
Since 2024 they are a sholarship holder at Mediengründerzentrum NRW as a founding member of EYE GOT U FILMS, a film and series production company.
Hanieh lives and works in Cologne.
